About the series
A nine-issue series from Fireman Press, La Cosa Nostroid (1996–1998) is a bizarre, satirical blend of organized crime and science fiction, most frequently written by Dan Harmon and drawn by Rob Schrab. It follows a mobster whose brain is transplanted into a robot body, forcing him to navigate the absurdities of a synthetic existence while clinging to his old-school criminal instincts. A cult oddity from the late 90s indie scene, it showcases the early, unhinged collaborative energy of two creators who would go on to shape modern comedy.
