A 39-issue Italian anthology series from Edizioni Star Comics, L'Uomo Ragno Classic (1991–1994) reprinted classic Spider-Man stories from the 1960s and 1970s, making foundational Lee and Romita-era tales—alongside art by Ross Andru and Gil Kane—available to a new generation of readers. Curated by writers Massimiliano Brighel, Francesco Meo, and Luca Scatasta, it offered a curated, chronological look at Peter Parker’s early adventures, bridging the gap between original U.S. releases and Italian fandom’s hunger for the character’s defining years.
