L'Insolite

A quirky, short-lived anthology series from French publisher Arédit-Artima, L'Insolite (1977–1982) offered 25 issues of offbeat, often eerie tales. Primarily written by Gray Morrow and Carl Wessler, the series is best remembered for its striking painted covers and interiors by Spanish artist Vicente Alcázar, whose moody, atmospheric style defined the book's strange and unsettling tone.
