About the series
In the late 1970s, French publisher Sage - Sagédition brought a brief, four-issue series to life with L'Homme Mouche, a translation of the American superhero Fly Man. Writer Bill Mantlo and artist Lee Elias were the creative team most closely associated with this short-lived import, which offered French readers a taste of costumed heroics from across the Atlantic. Though its run was tiny, the series stands as a curious artifact of the era's transatlantic comic-book exchange.
