L'histoire d'O

L’histoire d’O, published by Olympia Press in 1978–1979, is a two-issue comic adaptation of the controversial erotic novel. The series is most closely associated with the artwork of Italian illustrator Guido Crepax, whose elegant, surreal visual style brought a distinctive graphic sensibility to the source material. It remains a notable example of adult-oriented European comics from the late 1970s.
