L'expert

In 2024, Casterman launched L'expert, a comics series written by Jennifer Daniel and Paul Derouet, with Daniel also handling the art. The series’ premise centers on the methodical investigations of a forensic expert, grounding its crime-solving in scientific procedure rather than superhero theatrics. With only its first issue published, it represents a contemporary, European approach to the police procedural genre, notable for Daniel’s clean, expressive linework and the series’ commitment to realistic, detail-driven storytelling.
