Läderlappen och Robin

From 1951 to 1956, Centerförlaget published 73 issues of Läderlappen och Robin, a Swedish comic series that adapted Batman stories for a local audience. The series was shaped by the work of American writer and artist Henry Boltinoff, alongside Swedish artist Nils Egerbrandt and Canadian artist Win Mortimer, blending imported and domestic talent. It stands as a notable early example of how classic American superheroes were localized for European readers during the mid-century comic boom.
