In 2011 and 2012, German publisher Prestel Verlag released Kunst-Comic, a four-issue series that used the comic form to explore fine art and its history. Most closely associated with artist Barbara Yelin, each issue paired a different creator with a masterwork or artistic movement, offering accessible, visually rich interpretations rather than dry biography.
