About the series
From 1975 to 1998, Semic Press published twenty-four Kronblom julalbum (Christmas albums), annual seasonal collections centered on the famously lazy but good-hearted Swedish farmer Kronblom. Writer and artist Gunnar Persson was the defining creative force behind these holiday specials, which gathered the daily comic strip's gentle rural humor alongside his wife Malin, her formidable mother Svärmor, and the local merchants Grosshandlarn and handlare Nilsson.
