Krazy Kat

The German publisher Carlsen Comics revived George Herriman's iconic newspaper strip for a brief, two-issue comic series in 1991, collecting classic Krazy Kat stories in a European album format. While the series did not introduce new material, it served as an important archival reprint, bringing Herriman's surreal, poetic Coconino County adventures to a new generation of German readers. Its significance lies in preserving and honoring one of the most artistically influential comic strips of the 20th century.
