Korsarens hevn [Tegneserie Bokklubben]

In 1993, the Norwegian publisher Hjemmet/Egmont launched this single-issue comic adaptation of Emilio Salgari's adventure novel Korsarens hevn ("The Corsair's Revenge"). With a script by Nina Svendsrud and Renata Gelardini brought to life by artist Aldo Capitanio's vivid illustrations, it stands as a standalone graphic-novel entry in the publisher's Tegneserie Bokklubben line. Though brief, the issue is a distinctive example of European literary adaptation in Norwegian comics, bringing Salgari's swashbuckling tale to a new audience.
