Korak & Co

Published in Norway from 1973 to 1976 by Illustrerte Klassikere / Williams Forlag, Korak & Co ran for nine issues as a companion series to the Tarzan-inspired adventures of Korak, Son of Tarzan. The book blended jungle action with a rotating roster of backup features, drawing on scripts by American talents like Robert Kanigher, Joe Kubert, and Len Wein, with art from Frank Thorne and Noly Zamora among others. Its painted covers and mix of reprints and original material made it a distinctive, short-lived entry in European comics publishing during the 1970s.
