Kookaburra

In 2011, Arboris launched Kookaburra, a brief but visually striking two-issue series written by Crisse and Nicolas Mitric, with Mitric also handling the art. This short-lived European comic reimagines the classic Australian outlaw archetype through a dark, fantastical lens, blending mythic elements with a gritty, historical setting. While its run was concise, the series stands out for Mitric's distinctive, atmospheric artwork and its unique take on the bush-ranger legend.
