Konvooi

From 1999 to 2014, Konvooi was a Dutch comic series published by Stripwinkel Alex, spanning 13 issues. Created by the artist known as Stany, this gritty, realistic western follows a wagon train making its perilous journey across the American frontier, with the harsh landscape and human conflict taking center stage over heroic tropes. Its deliberate, slow-burn pacing and detailed, atmospheric artwork distinguished it from more action-heavy westerns, making it a notable entry in European comics for its uncompromising take on the genre.
