About the series
In this Dutch-language series from Panda, Koning Hollewijn (2015–present) follows the absurdist adventures of a hapless, medieval king and his eccentric court. Created by cartoonist Gummbah, the strip thrives on deadpan humor, surreal misunderstandings, and minimalist art. Though only two issues have been published, the series has become a cult favorite for its sharp, deadpan satire of monarchy and human folly.
