Knuckles the Malevolent Nun

Cornelius Stone and Roger Langridge launched this two-issue Fantagraphics series in 1991, a brief but memorable black-and-white satire that turns the sacred into the absurd. Stone's script follows a violently unhinged nun, while Langridge's expressive cartooning gives the blasphemous premise a deceptively charming, rubbery energy. Though short-lived, it remains a cult oddity from the early alternative-comics boom.
