Since 2022, Egmont has revived the classic Swedish comic Knasen for a series of annual Christmas albums. Each 2022–present issue delivers a new, self-contained adventure of the cheerful, mischievous boy and his friends, keeping the spirit of the original strip alive for a new generation. The series is most closely associated with the work of writer/artist Janne Lundström, who crafts these modern, family-friendly stories. It matters as a warm, ongoing tribute to a beloved piece of Swedish comics history.
