In the late 1970s, Hjemmet / Egmont released two Norwegian-language albums collecting Charles M. Schulz’s beloved Peanuts strips under the title Knøttene. These slim volumes, published in 1978 and 1979, offered Norwegian readers a curated dose of Schulz’s timeless humor and gentle melancholy, featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the gang. While brief in its run, this series stands as a charming artifact of how Schulz’s work was packaged for international audiences before the strip’s global ubiquity.
