Kilroy

In 1970 and 1971, Danish publisher Interpresse released ten issues of Kilroy, a short-lived but distinctive comic series. Best remembered for its surreal, counterculture-tinged stories and bold, expressive artwork, the series was a showcase for the talents of writer and artist Claus Deleuran. Kilroy stands as a curious artifact of early 70s European underground comix, offering a blend of social satire and whimsical fantasy that set it apart from more conventional fare of the era.
