About the series
In 2017, Image Comics launched Kid Savage with a Free Comic Book Day special, a one-shot by writer Joe Kelly and artist Ilya. This single-issue debut introduced a wild, post-apocalyptic tale of a resourceful young boy navigating a dangerous jungle world alongside his eccentric family. While the series hasn't continued beyond this initial offering, the creative duo's energetic, offbeat storytelling made it a memorable entry into the FCBD canon.
