Kid Colt Outlaw

In the early 1950s, Bell Features published five issues of Kid Colt Outlaw, a Western comic that rode the tail end of the genre's golden age. With art by Joe Maneely, Pete Tumlinson, and Syd Shores—each a seasoned hand at drawing dust and six-shooters—the series followed the adventures of its masked gunslinger hero. Though short-lived, it stands as a modest but polished example of Canadian comic-book Westerns from the period.
