Kick Wilstra

In the mid-2010s, Dutch publisher Stokerkade revived Henk Sprenger's classic newspaper strip character for a short, two-issue series. Kick Wilstra (2014–2015) brings back the beloved football star in a lighthearted, nostalgic adventure, showcasing Sprenger's signature clean, expressive artwork. This brief run serves as a fond tribute to one of the Netherlands' most iconic comic sportsmen.
