About the series
During its 28-issue run from 1998 to 2003, Glénat brought the beloved manga Rurouni Kenshin to French readers as Kenshin le Vagabond. This series follows the wandering swordsman Kenshin Himura, a former assassin seeking redemption in Meiji-era Japan. The translation and publication by Glénat introduced a generation of European fans to Nobuhiro Watsuki's poignant blend of historical drama, action, and character-driven storytelling. It remains a landmark release for bringing one of the medium's most iconic ronin to a new audience.
