Ken Shannon

From 1952 to 1953, Ayers & James published ten issues of Ken Shannon, a short-lived but visually striking comic series. The title is most associated with the crisp, detailed artwork of Reed Crandall, whose dynamic style elevated the adventures of the titular hero, while writer Joe Millard contributed to the series' scripts. Though brief, the series stands as a showcase for Crandall's distinctive illustration during the early 1950s.
