Keith Laumer's Retief

Dennis Fujitake both wrote and illustrated this 1987-1988 Mad Dog Graphics series, adapting Keith Laumer's satirical science-fiction tales of Jame Retief, a diplomat in the Corps Diplomatique Terrestrienne. Running six issues, the comic brought Laumer's bureaucratic farce and interstellar politics to the page, with additional scripting from Jan Strnad. It remains a fondly remembered cult adaptation for fans of classic SF humor.
