Katzenjammer Kids

A short-lived, two-issue revival of the classic newspaper strip, The Katzenjammer Kids returned in 1951 under Better Publications of Canada. Though the mischievous twins Hans and Fritz had been a comic-page staple for decades, this series attempted to adapt their anarchic, prank-filled adventures for the comic-book format. The title is a minor but distinct footnote in the characters' long history, representing a brief Canadian publishing venture during the post-war era.
