Katy Keene Comics [Archie Series]

Published in 1949–1950 by Bell Features, this two-issue Archie series spotlighted the fashion-forward Katy Keene, a character created and entirely handled by writer-artist Bill Woggon. Known for its elaborate, reader-submitted costume designs and pinup-style art, the series offered a glamorous, aspirational counterpoint to the more small-town antics of Archie and his friends. Though brief, it helped establish Katy as a lasting icon of vintage comics fashion.
