Karaté

In the pages of the French magazine Jeunesse et vacances, Karaté ran for 28 issues from 1969 to 1972, bringing martial arts action to young readers. This series is most associated with creator Claude Auclair, whose dynamic art and storytelling helped define its gritty, adventure-driven tone. It stands as an early European example of the martial arts comics trend, predating the wider explosion of ninja and kung-fu stories in Western comics.
