Kalevala

In 2018, Finnish publisher Arktinen Banaani launched Kalevala, a comic series adapting the national epic of Finland. Illustrated primarily by Marko Raassina, the series distills the mythic poetry and heroic cycles of the Kalevala into a modern sequential art format, making the ancient tales accessible to new generations.
