Manga artist Yoshiyuki Nishi, known for Muhyo & Roji's Bureau of Supernatural Investigation, turned his talents to a high-concept blend of martial arts and cooking in this short 2006–2007 series from Kōdansha. Kakutou Ryourinin Musashi follows a chef who wields knives and kitchen techniques as combat skills, serving up a unique action premise that ran for just three issues. Though brief, it showcases Nishi's signature energy and genre-mixing creativity.
