About the series
A young man obsessed with becoming the ultimate "shadowbroker" is reborn in a fantasy world, where he builds a secret organization based on his delusions—only to discover his fictional scenarios are becoming reality. Published by Kadokawa and running since 2019, this comedy-action series follows Cid Kagenou as his over-the-top roleplaying accidentally makes him the leader of a real underground force. Written and illustrated by Daisuke Aizawa (with art by Anri Sakano), the manga is known for its sharp parody of isekai tropes and its protagonist's blissful ignorance of his own accidental genius.
