Ka-Zar

In the early 1980s, Swedish publisher Atlantic Förlags AB released an eight-issue run of Ka-Zar, a series written primarily by Christer Follin and Doug Moench. The artwork was anchored by a rotating team of industry veterans including Gil Kane, Brent Anderson, and John Romita. This brief but visually rich series brought the jungle lord to a European audience, offering a distinctive international take on the Marvel character during a period when foreign-language reprints often introduced classic American heroes to new readers.
