Jysäys

In the mid-2000s, the Finnish publisher Arktinen Banaani brought together a striking international roster for Jysäys, a six-issue comic series that paired European scripting with lush, expressive artwork. Anchored by the writing of Anssi Rauhala alongside French artist Caza and Spanish creator Juan Díaz Canales, the series is visually defined by the painterly style of Juanjo Guarnido, best known for Blacksad.
