Jungle Jim

Based on the classic newspaper strip, Jungle Jim ran for 17 issues from 1960 to 1965, published by Yaffa / Page. The series followed the globe-trotting adventurer through exotic locales and perilous encounters, a staple of the publisher's Australian comics line. While the original strip was created by Alex Raymond, this comic book iteration is most associated with the work of Australian artist John Dixon, who brought a distinct, dynamic style to the jungle adventures. It remains a key example of mid-century Australian comic book publishing.
