Blackthorne Publishing revived the classic jungle-adventure genre with this short-lived 1988 series, which ran for just three issues. Writer Bruce Jones, alongside artists Dragan Flaesc and Donnie Jupiter, brought the iconic character Kaänga to a new generation of readers. Though brief, the series stands as a notable attempt to recapture the spirit of pulp-era heroes within the direct-market comic boom of the late 1980s.
