Journal d'un psychanalyste

Serge Tisseron, a psychoanalyst and comics scholar, launched Journal d'un psychanalyste in 2003 with Calmann-Lévy, a single-issue graphic novel that adapts the real casework and inner reflections of a therapist into comic form. Drawing on his own professional experience, Tisseron uses the medium to explore the quiet, often invisible dynamics of the analytic session, making this a unique and early example of a practitioner using autobiography and sequential art to demystify psychoanalysis.
