Johnny Hazard på kjempeøglenes øy

In 1986, the Norwegian publisher Serieforlaget/Se-Bladene/Stabenfeldt released a single-issue comic collecting Frank Robbins’ classic newspaper adventure strip Johnny Hazard under the title Johnny Hazard på kjempeøglenes øy ("Johnny Hazard on the Island of Giant Lizards"). This one-shot reprint features Robbins’ own artwork and co-writing with Ståle Johnsen, offering Norwegian readers a self-contained dose of the globe-trotting aviator’s mid-century exploits. Though brief, it stands as a niche but charming artifact of international comic strip syndication.
