John Difool

A darkly surreal science-fiction saga originally serialized in the legendary French metal magazine Métal Hurlant, John Difool follows the down-and-out "Class R" detective through a dystopian, psychotropic future. Published in Germany by Carlsen Comics across eight issues from 1983 to 1991, the series is most indelibly defined by the visionary collaboration of writer Alexandro Jodorowsky and artist Moebius, whose dense, hallucinatory visuals and philosophical pulp storytelling created a cult touchstone of European comics.
