John Carter of Mars

Edgar Rice Burroughs' classic pulp hero returned to comics in this brief 1953 series from British publisher World Distributors, with scripting by Burroughs himself alongside Paul S. Newman and art by Jesse Marsh. Though spanning only two issues, this release brought John Carter's Martian adventures to a new international audience during the mid-century revival of the character.
