Johann und Pfiffikus

From 2011 to 2012, Splitter Verlag published this five-issue comic series centered on the classic Belgian characters Johann and Pfiffikus, with scripts primarily by Max Murmel, Alain De Kuyssche, and Hugues Dayez. The artwork throughout is by the legendary Peyo, creator of the Smurfs, bringing his signature clean, whimsical style to these medieval adventures. This series offers a focused, late-career look at Peyo’s storytelling, capturing the charm of his original creations for a new generation of readers.
