Johan, Lotta och Jockos äventyr
Carlsen/if [SE] · 1972–1976 · 5 issues
About the series
A Swedish children's comic series published by Carlsen/if from 1972 to 1976, Johan, Lotta och Jockos äventyr ran for five issues and drew heavily on Hergé's earlier Johan et Pirlouit material. While Hergé provided the original artwork and some writing, the Swedish editions featured translations and adaptations by Karin and Allan B. Janzon, making the medieval adventures of the young page Johan, his friend Lotta, and the mischievous dwarf Jocko accessible to a new audience. Though brief, the series stands as a notable Scandinavian attempt to localize a classic European comic property.
