Johan en Pirrewiet

Thierry Culliford and Yvan Delporte scripted four issues of Johan en Pirrewiet for Le Lombard between 1994 and 2001, with Alain Maury providing the art. This series revisits the medieval adventures of Johan and his friend Pirrewiet, characters originally created by Peyo, bringing a fresh yet faithful take to their exploits. While a short run, it stands as a fond, late-era continuation of the classic Belgian comic tradition.
