About the series
Ham Fisher's iconic boxing hero Joe Palooka made his Brazilian debut in this long-running reprint series from Editora de Periódicos, S. C. L. "La Prensa," which ran for 70 issues from 1952 onward. Featuring the artwork of Al Avison alongside Fisher and Jack Keller, the title brought the beloved, clean-cut heavyweight champion to a new audience.
