Janus Stark Special

In the mid-1980s, Pat Mills brought the Victorian escapologist Janus Stark to Mon Journal for a three-issue special. Illustrated by Ian Gibson and Mike McMahon, the series spotlighted the master of illusion and escape, a character originally created for the pages of Smash! and revived here for a new audience. It stands as a concise, atmospheric dive into one of British comics' more unique pulp heroes.
