Jan Kruis wrote and drew all 26 issues of this Dutch comic series, published by Joop Wiggers Produkties from 1972 to 1998. Following the daily life of the Tromp family—Jans, Jan, and their children Lotje, Karlijn, and Catootje, plus their red tomcat—the strip became a beloved chronicle of suburban domesticity in the Netherlands. Its gentle humor and relatable family dynamics made it a long-running staple of Dutch comics.
