About the series
During the late 2000s, Marvel revisited its Golden Age roots with Invaders Classic, a 4-issue series that collects the original 1970s adventures of Captain America, the Human Torch, Sub-Mariner, and Bucky. Primarily written by Roy Thomas, with art from Frank Robbins, Alan Kupperberg, and Gil Kane, these stories reintroduced Jim Hammond and Steve Rogers as they fought alongside their wartime allies.
