Intocable

In the mid-1970s, Chilean publisher Zig-Zag brought a gritty, original superhero to its pages with Intocable (1974–1977), a 26-issue series that followed a lone vigilante navigating a corrupt, urban landscape. Created by a team including writer Guillermo Blanco and artist Mario Igor, the series stood out for its mature, noir-influenced storytelling and stark black-and-white art, reflecting the tense social climate of its era. Though short-lived, Intocable remains a significant milestone in Latin American comics, remembered for its bold departure from traditional superhero tropes and its unflinching look at justice and morality.
