About the series
In this short-lived 1989-1990 Marvel series, writer James D. Hudnall and artists Paul Johnson, Bill Koeb, and Daniel Brereton crafted a sleek, cyberpunk-flavored thriller. The story follows a freelance troubleshooter navigating a dystopian near-future where a powerful corporation’s technology allows people to interface directly with computers. With its moody, painted visuals and paranoid corporate intrigue, Interface offered a gritty, ahead-of-its-time take on digital consciousness and identity. It remains a cult curiosity from Marvel’s late-80s experimental period.
