Ink Brick -- The Journal of Comics Poetry

A decade-spanning, ten-issue anthology from the small press Ink Brick, Ink Brick: The Journal of Comics Poetry (2015–2020) carved a singular space for the intersection of sequential art and lyrical verse. Edited by a dedicated collective of poet-cartoonists, the series gathered a diverse roster of contributors to explore how panels, gutters, and word balloons could serve a poetic purpose. It remains a landmark publication for formally ambitious, quietly experimental work that expanded the definition of what a comic could be.
