About the series
From 1982 to 1992, Elvifrance published Incube, a 97-issue Italian horror-fantasy series that blended supernatural dread with erotic tension. The creative backbone of the run was writer Carmelo Gozzo, working alongside a rotating trio of artists—Lorenzo Lepori, Blas Gallego, and P. d'Angelico—whose lush, shadowy visuals defined the book's distinctive look. Though less known than its contemporaries, Incube carved out a cult niche for its unapologetically adult take on the genre, pushing boundaries within the European black-and-white comic scene of the era.
